About me and my specialty
Hello,
my name is Maciej. I’m an orthopedist, which means a doctor that takes care of human locomotor system. In my work I treat both children as well as adults, often whole multigenerational families.
I diagnose and treat orthopedic problems related to bone and joint system defects, injuries or degeneration. I consult irregularities connected with posture defects
For adults, apart from conservative treatment, I suggest modern methods of invasive therapy and qualify for surgeries.
I’m punctual and patient.
I try to approach each patient individually, adapting the treatment process to their needs and expectations
I also lead visits in English.
Privately, I am a father of two children. I love sports and fast cars. I’m a huge fan of FC Barcelona

What do I treat and diagnose?
As part of the consultation, I deal with posture defects, sports injuries,
limb inequalities and deformations, foot defects and flat feet, aseptic bone necrosis, bone fractures, joint sprains, osteoarthritis and arthritis, hip dysplasia, Scheuermanns disease, valgus and varus knees, scoliosis, any pains in the area of the musculoskeletal system.
I perform:
- Operation qualification,
- Hip joint ultrasound examination in neonates – pre-luxation,
- Ankle and knee joint ultrasound,
- Intra- joint hyaluronic acid, PRP, steroids injections,
- Punctures of joints, cysts,
- Application / removal of a plaster,
- Selection of an orthosis / orthopedic equipment,
- Evaluation of the results of imaging tests ordered and provided by the patient, including X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound.
If you come with your child to a visit (until 18 years of age), it’s necessary to have your child’s health book (that’s how we call it in Poland), especially in case of a neonate hip ultrasound examination. In case of an injury please take any information card or X-ray images (with CD ) that you received in the hospital emergency department.
Adults i ask for any medical documentation, imaging test (description + CD with the examination).

Qualification and experience
I’ve graduated Karol Marcinkowsky Universtity of Medical Science in Poznan. Since 2009 I’m connected with the Pediatric Orthopedics and Traumatology Department K. Marcinkowsky Medical University in Poznan.
In 2017 with a very good rate I received the title of specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology of locomotor system.
